• overcome barriers to reducing their carbon emissions
• implement new business processes that will help reduce carbon emissions
• implement strategic changes identified through consultancy support
• promote their green credentials
• enter a new market in the net zero landscape

Yes, if you are a West Lothian-based business keen to reduce your carbon emissions.

Your business must also:

• have been trading for at least one year
• have growth potential over the next 3 years
• business must have taken steps to or have already completed a carbon footprint calculation

This is a free service.

Once your eligibility and suitability have been confirmed, your application can be approved within 10 working days.

You must complete a carbon footprint calculation before you apply.

Ideally the fund will support changes to reduce emissions identified within scope 3 of the Green House Gas protocol. Scope 3 emissions include all emissions produced not just by a company itself, but which it is indirectly responsible for - for example, emissions produced when buying products from its suppliers, or when its customers use its products.
