Guidance and support for businesses impacted by the current situation in the Middle East

The current situation in the Middle East is very challenging. We've compiled information and resources to help you navigate doing business in the region at this time.

We know Scottish exporters will be concerned about the welfare of their staff in the region. The Scottish Government is working closely with the UK government, with the safety and welfare of British nationals across the Middle East being a top priority.

To ensure the safety of UK national employees, the Scottish Government encourages businesses to ask their employees in the region to register with the UK government.

British nationals in Bahrain, Israel, Kuwait, Lebanon, Palestine, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates can register their presence to receive direct updates from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).
