What does this involve?
The Scottish Business Climate Collaboration (SBCC) Climate Action Hub is a free e-learning platform to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Scotland to better understand their carbon emissions and reporting.
The hub includes 12 short e-learning modules on topics ranging from entry-level climate science to carbon emissions from business practices. Businesses also get free access to a dashboard to track carbon literacy across their organisation, as well as tools to calculate their carbon baseline and develop a carbon reduction plan.
The e-learning modules in the Climate Action Hub cover:
- the basics of climate change
- why carbon is important
- business opportunities from carbon reduction
- sources of carbon in your business
- upstream carbon
- downstream carbon
- how to measure your carbon emissions
The hub is jointly funded by the Scottish Government and Scottish Business Climate Collaboration (SBCC) members, and delivered by Zero Waste Scotland.
Am I eligible?
The Climate Action Hub has been developed for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Scotland, but all businesses are welcome to use the platform.

This is a free service.

How long does this take?
It will take around 4 hours to view the e-learning modules and get set up with other resources in the Climate Action Hub.
