What does this involve?
IBioIC's 12th annual conference offers a chance to join around 400 industry professionals, researchers, policymakers, and supporting organisations in Glasgow to explore the latest issues affecting the bioeconomy.
During this 2-day conference, you can listen to insightful talks, explore case studies, and attend panel sessions that focus on issues around the growth and implementation of bio-based solutions.
You can also take part in networking activities and workshops to:
- make new connections
- cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations
- see examples of best practice
- learn about regulations and effective communication
You can use the one-to-one networking platform to set your availability and book meetings with key contacts.
You'll also have the opportunity to visit the exhibition area and innovation zone to see innovative projects offered by companies and service providers, and meet the next generation of innovators in the student poster pone.

Yes. Anyone with an interest in the bioeconomy is invited to attend and take part.
What does this cost?
Tickets are offered at a range of prices for industry, academics, and students.
Discounted early bird rates are available until 6pm on 30 January 2026. These range from £110 (excluding VAT) for students up to £250 (excluding VAT) for industry.
Standard rate tickets will be available until 9 March 2026. These prices range from £160 (excluding VAT) for students to £350 (excluding VAT) for industry.

Note that the price does not include any travel or accommodation costs involved in attending the event in Glasgow.
