Meet the Buyer is an annual, free national procurement event that brings together businesses and buyers from across the public and private sectors. 

At Meet the Buyer, attendees can meet procurement teams, buyers and supply chain partners from across Scotland and the UK. The event includes opportunities to introduce their business, discuss current and future projects, and explore contract and tender opportunities. 

There are networking areas and themed zones where buyers from different sectors are available to speak with suppliers. 

Business that attend the event will:

• have the opportunity to network with procurement teams and buyers from across the public and private sectors
• be able to pitch your business innovations to buyers
• hear from speakers, their experiences, pipeline projects and upcoming contract opportunities
• get an explanation of procurement jargon and buzzwords
• be given top tips on how to bid from expert trainers
• be inspired for your business’ next steps 

Meet the Buyer National aims to help small and medium sized businesses from across Scotland meet buyers. 

Not sure if your business’ products and services have a place in public and private sector procurement? You may be able to provide peripheral products and services nearby - for example, food and drink, cleaning services, security services, local accommodation, grounds maintenance. 

All businesses in and out with Scotland can register for this event.

This is a one-day event. 

The event is free to attend, but you must register your place in advance on the Supplier Development Programme website.
