Fife Council’s Economic Development Team has developed the Trade Development Programme to help businesses participate in or visit exhibitions in order to identify new customers and open up new markets. Through its various strands, the programme can assist Fife-based businesses to:
 
Participate in a group stand

The Trade Development Programme organises group stands at major national and international events and provides Fife-based companies with a range of support and training related to exhibiting.

Some of the benefits of participating in a group stand include:

• InvestFife project managing your attendance, leaving you to focus on your immediate business
• workshops that focus on everything from pre-event planning to post-show evaluation
• local and national PR support for attending
• possible grant funding of up to £2,000 for eligible businesses

Take part in an international exhibition

Are you looking to expand your company internationally? Exhibitions could be the perfect opportunity to secure your next big contract. Along with other agencies and partners, InvestFife will work closely with you to provide advice and support to help you succeed in the global marketplace.

The cost of participation will vary depending on the needs of your business and the show you attend. When you participate in a group stand, the Trade Development Programme will cover the stand design and project management costs.

Grant funding may be also available to businesses that meet the criteria, up to a maximum of £2,000.
