What is a complaint?
If you're unhappy with something on the site or with the service you've received, you can make a complaint. A complaint could be about:
- the quality and standard of service on Find Business Support
- your treatment by, or the attitude of, a member of staff
- technical or accessibility issues
What happens when I make a complaint?
If you complain about a partner’s service, we'll contact the partner and they'll deal with the complaint in line with their complaints policy.
If you complain about Find Business Support, we'll respond as soon as possible so we can resolve your complaint quickly.
How to lodge a complaint
You can make a complaint by phone, in writing or by email, or you can use our enquiry form.
When you complain, tell us:
- your name and contact details
- as much as you can about the complaint

If you are not happy with our response
If you're not happy with our response, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Get help
We understand that you may be unable or reluctant to make a complaint yourself. We accept complaints from a representative of a person who is unhappy with our service. We can take complaints from a friend, relative or advocate, if you have given them your consent to complain for you.
