What does this involve?

Meet the Buyer South is a free-to-attend networking event for suppliers who wish to do business in the South of Scotland. This year's event will take place on Wednesday 7 October 2026, at the Corn Exchange in Haddington.

Join the Supplier Development Programme, East Lothian and Scottish Borders Council at Meet the Buyer South to introduce your organisation and explain what goods, services or works you can offer to the public and private sector.

On the day, attendees will be able to meet procurement teams from local authorities, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, to discuss their upcoming contracts. At the event, you can also find out how to access the Supplier Development Programme's free tender training to help you bid for these opportunities.
