What does this involve?
Adaptation Scotland has created a downloadable PDF guide (214 KB) for business advisers in Scotland. It includes questions that you can use as prompts to help you talk with businesses about how they can build their resilience to climate change, extreme weather and its consequences, including flooding, heatwaves and supply chain disruption.
The prompts focus on 5 areas that businesses may need to protect:
- products and services
- people
- premises
- processes
- place
The guide is designed to help you have conversations with businesses, not to provide specific advice. Each business faces different risks and opportunities.
Each prompt includes links to additional resources to help you explore relevant topics further.
The guide has been designed to help Scottish businesses, but may be useful to others.
