What does this involve?

Marketplace is an online noticeboard where your business can connect with schools and colleges in Scotland. You can create listings for events that will let you pass on your knowledge of your industry to young people.

Create interest in your industry among the next generation of talent and help young people develop the skills they'll need to work in your sector.

Young people benefit from getting an idea of the different kinds of work available to them once they leave education.

Access to this service is free.

Who is this for?

This is open to all businesses, social enterprises and community organisations in Scotland.

How long does this take?

Marketplace can be accessed online. Creating a listing is quick and easy.

You can offer all kinds of opportunities for young people. Some examples include:

  • workshops where students can practise skills needed for your industry
  • workplace visits
  • talks where you discuss what your business does
  • work placements for students
