The East Ayrshire Council goStrategy programme is a 2-year programme that helps businesses in East Ayrshire develop their strategy for the next year and beyond. The programme will help up to 10 businesses each year.

The programme will focus on:

• strategic analysis - looking at challenges and opportunities
• strategic direction - outlining the strategic goals of the business and creating a strategy to achieve these goals
• strategic plan – developing an achievable plan for the future

Participating businesses will receive up to 12 days of consultancy support across a 6 to 10 month period. After this, the consultant will prepare a report that sets out initial milestones and targets and submit it to the business development team.

Yes, if your business:

• is located in East Ayrshire
• aims to increase turnover by at least £400,000 over 3 years
• aims to create jobs and train and develop your workforce
• falls within one of the key sectors for support
  • technology and engineering
  • food and drink
  • tourism
  • textiles
  • energy (renewables)
  • creative industries
  • life sciences
  • construction
  • healthcare and biotechnology
  • forest and timber
• does not qualify for Scottish Enterprise support

Qualifying businesses will be awarded up to 12 days of consultancy over a 6 to 10 month period.
