What does this involve?

Glasgow Start-Up and Connect is open to people in Glasgow who are thinking about starting a business or have recently started one.

The programme is made up of 4 free in-person events that will be held in March 2026. The events run from 10am to 12:30pm on the following dates:

  • Thursday 5 March
  • Thursday 12 March
  • Thursday 19 March
  • Thursday 26 March

Each event includes:

  • short talks from industry experts
  • practical advice you can use straight away
  • time to meet and connect with other people starting a business

You are welcome to attend as many of the events as you wish. The events are free to attend, but places are limited so you'll need to register in advance.

This programme is delivered by Inspirent on behalf of Glasgow City Council.

To be eligible, you must be:

  • based within the Glasgow City Council boundary
  • thinking about starting a business, or have recently started a business

You do not need to be trading yet to take part.

The programme is free to attend but you'll need to register in advance.
