Delivered by Access2Employment’s Parental Employment Support team, the West Lothian Council Parental Business Start-up grant provides grant support to eligible West Lothian parents looking to start their own business.

Funding priority will be given to parents that:

• are a lone parent
• have a disability or a child with a disability
• have 3 or more children
• have a child under 1 year
• are under 25
• a minority ethnic family
• has a household under the minimum income calculation

The funding is not available to any business owners that have already received the West Lothian Council Intro to Business grant.

The grant can be used towards eligible start up costs, such as purchasing tools or training.
