This grant provides support to established and growing West Dunbartonshire social enterprises to help them implement their growth plans more efficiently and become more sustainable in the long term. The grant will cover up to 50% of the enterprise’s project expenditure, up to a maximum of £2,000.
The funding is designed to support the further development and implementation of growth activity. Examples of eligible activity include capital expenditure, digital transformation projects, property improvement costs, innovative projects and staff costs.

To be eligible, enterprises must:
be located in West Dunbartonshire
have been actively trading for 6 months
have less than 50 employees
not have any debt owed to the council

The Social Enterprise Grant is free to apply for and free support is provided.

All types of social enterprises located in West Dunbartonshire that have been trading for at least 6 months.
How long does this take?
The West Dunbartonshire Social Enterprise Grant can be applied for all year round. Applications can take up to 2 weeks to be approved.

Applicants will be asked to submit evidence to support their applications - for example, their spend receipts and bank evidence to support.
