Support provided by Gov UK

What does this involve?

The Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund (LSIMF) supports capital investment projects that increase the UK's manufacturing capacity and capability for life sciences products. The fund aims to improve health resilience, strengthen supply chains and support access to medicines, diagnostics and medical technologies.

Up to £520 million is available through the fund. Projects must have a total eligible cost of at least £8 million and may receive grant support of up to 25% of total project costs, with most awards expected to cover between 10% and 20% of project costs.

Applications are assessed through a multi-stage process, beginning with an Expression of Interest, followed by detailed assessment of health resilience benefits, project viability and value for money.

The fund is open until 31 March 2030.
