What does this involve?
The Entrepreneurial Education Fund supports projects that encourage young people in Scotland to learn about entrepreneurship.
Your project can be aimed at young people in early years programmes through to secondary school (ages 3 to 18), as well as those in vocational education (SCQF levels 1 to 8) in Scotland.
You can use the funding for projects that:
- develop core meta skills such as creativity, leadership, problem solving and communication
- connect learning to real-world practice through mentoring and industry engagement
- build teacher confidence and capacity to teach entrepreneurial approaches
- deliver interdisciplinary learning across curriculum areas
- address gaps in entrepreneurship education through research and practical innovation
- strengthen networks, collaboration and long-term educational partnerships
You cannot use the funding for business start-up activity, incubation programmes or general entrepreneurial ecosystem support.
Your project proposal should show clear impact, innovation, collaboration, long-term sustainability and a commitment to diversity, inclusion and accessibility.
The fund aims to create a sustainable, inclusive environment in the Scottish educational system in which young people can develop their creativity, problem solving skills, adaptability, confidence and ambition.
Grants are available in amounts between £10,000 and £150,000. Larger projects may be considered in exceptional cases.
The deadline to apply is 5pm on Thursday 26 March 2026.
All activities must be completed by 31 March 2027.

- industry bodies and organisations experienced in entrepreneurial education
To be eligible, you must also:

- have robust safeguarding policies
All project activity must take place in Scotland.
What does this cost?
It is free to apply for this fund.
Grants are available in amounts from £10,000 up to £150,000. You'll need to cover any additional costs above this amount through other sources.
You'll receive your grant payments retrospectively, in instalments. This means you'll need to be able to cover the costs upfront, then reclaim the money through the grant.
Each instalment will be paid out after you achieve certain agreed project milestones. This detailed payment schedule will be set out in your grant offer letter if your application is successful.
Who is this for?
Education providers and other organisations that support entrepreneurial education for young people in Scotland.
