Want to access advice and support to accelerate growth? The Specialist Advice Service can help with:

Am I eligible?
This service is primarily for HIE account managed clients. However, there is flexibility to provide support to potential clients who are ambitious and motivated to grow.
What does this cost?
Free of charge (under review). Subject to state aid assessment and if appropriate, your available De Minimis allowance.
Who is this for?
Businesses or social enterprises preparing for their next stage of growth.
How long does this take?
Once HIE colleagues have discussed the requirements in full, eligible advice support can be mobilised within a matter of days. The average advice case covers 3-4 days of adviser support.
Important information
The service is flexible, and the pool of advisers is broad. This means that HIE can provide easy access to people and support, achieving clarity and insights so that there can be confidence in decisions made.
Advisers will provide advice around e.g. approach and strategy, but will not undertake a role that should be fulfilled by the organisation.
