The Net Zero Accelerator is a simple, free, online tool that will help your business assess its current level of sustainability and develop a plan on how to improve it.

It provides a personalised report with practical steps your business can take to improve its sustainability.

First, you'll need to complete a short assessment about your business. The tool will score its performance in 5 key areas:

• your understanding of your carbon impact
• current carbon reduction commitments and targets
• leadership and staff engagement
• levels of collaboration, support and innovation
• climate change adaption

Next, the tool will produce a downloadable PDF report based on the answers you've given. The report will:

• summarise and assess your current efforts to reduce carbon emissions
• provide details to explain your scores in the 5 key areas
• suggest resources and next steps to help you improve your scores

You can use this information to prioritise areas for improvement and develop a stronger, more efficient net zero strategy for your business.

This service is available to all businesses in Scotland.

It is free to use the tool. There may be costs associated with any carbon reduction measures your business decides to put in place after using the tool.
