What does this involve?

Employers with acute skills gaps are now able to quickly advertise immediate opportunities to a broad audience through the My World of Work Job Hub.  

The service has been developed by Skills Development Scotland in partnership with industry bodies to support employers and individuals through the disruptive impact of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

My World of Work Job Hub enables employers across Scotland to quickly advertise immediate vacancies to a broad audience through the national online careers resource. 

The job hub brings together immediate vacancies across Scotland and provides job seekers with a trusted source of opportunities at this critical time.

Am I eligible?

Yes, if you are an employer in Scotland. 

You must provide a web address so that applicants can apply for your vacancy through your regular recruiting process. 

What does this cost?

This is a free service.

Who is this for?

Any employer with vacancies in Scotland.

How long does this take?

Opportunities will be posted on the job hub within one working day. To do this, you'll need to submit a form with relevant details about your role.

Important information

Job vacancies must be immediate and from areas of critical importance to the pandemic response, such as health boards, food and drink production, retail and other sectors.


Employers must be working in line with Scottish Government advice on workers and essential services.
