The Medical Device Manufacturing Centre (MDMC) offers a range of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies that medtech companies in Scotland can use to develop high-precision prototypes and specialised components.
The technologies can be used to develop medical devices and biocompatible implants, as well as for small-scale production. They can produce components at various scales, from intricate details to larger objects. Examples include:
- dental moulds
- small parts
- protective casings
- soft, flexible components
