What does this involve?

Telecommunications providers play an essential part in maintaining and expanding Scotland’s critical national infrastructure and supporting economic recovery.

As part of the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, the Scottish Government has issued an updated statement to telecommunications providers in Scotland signposting them to the latest guidance to help them perform their roles during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The guidance includes:

  • Performing risk assessments
  • Physical distancing
  • Workplace hygiene
  • Working safely in people’s homes
  • Working safely on Scotland’s road networks
  • Working with the construction industry
