Important information

The guidance package will be reviewed on an on-going basis in line with Scottish Government’s review of lockdown restrictions. They will take into account the re-opening of other businesses during later phases of the route map, as well as emerging evidence and changes to public health advice.

These documents have been updated since they were first published on 2 April 2020.

The updated guidance includes feedback from the food industry and the latest advice from Scottish and UK Government and Health Protection Scotland. It aims to provide further clarification on the application of physical distancing requirements, cleaning and disinfection procedures. It also includes how government advice on facemasks and face coverings applies to food businesses.
