What does this involve?

Companies House has published guidance for its customers during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It explains how it has adapted the way it works to maintain services for the public and protect the welfare of its employees.

Because Companies House has reduced the number of staff in its offices due to COVID restrictions, it takes longer to process paper documents. For this reason, it encourages customers to make use of existing online services to:

  • file your accounts
  • file your confirmation statement
  • make changes to your company
  • close your company

This helps reduce delays and save time, especially during peak filing times when many companies are submitting their accounts before the deadline.
