What does this involve?

Scottish Enterprise and its international arm, Scottish Development International (SDI), have designed an international online sales support service to help Scottish companies learn how to trade online.

The service helps businesses develop their online presence through workshops, training, one-to-one sessions and expert advice.

Participants are taught how to sell in specific marketplaces, develop a digital strategy, understand global demographics, and find relevant influencers to promote their brand.

The service explains how to sell on marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Faire and many others.

Am I eligible?

You are eligible if your business meets at least one of these criteria:

  • already sells internationally online but needs help with specific issues
  • is new to international e-commerce
  • is experienced in online international sales but wishes to sell on multiple platforms globally
  • is a lapsed online exporter

What does this cost?

This is a free service.

Who is this for?

This service is for Scottish companies, including their senior management, that want to grow their knowledge of international online selling.

How long does this take?

Workshops and other sessions vary in length from one hour to one day. Check the schedule of upcoming events for more information.
