Prepare for change with work-based learning

Support provided by Skills Development Scotland

What does this involve?

Skills Development Scotland and the Centre for Work-based Learning have identified the skills that will be most valuable in the future. These skills will help you make the most of changes like new technology and an older, more diverse workforce.

Skills Development Scotland can work proactively with your company to support you to make the most of apprenticeships, a flexible, targeted way to build the specific skills needed to cope with change.

Am I eligible?

The programme is aimed at larger employers with more than 250 staff.

Scottish Enterprise or Highlands and Islands Enterprise account-managed organisations are also eligible.

What does this cost?

It's free to access the work-based learning support.

Who is this for?

This programme is for larger businesses who want to develop skills critical to the Scottish economy. It can support business growth, maximising opportunities from work-based learning, further education, higher education and industry engagement.

How long does this take?

You'll work with a relationship account executive to grow your business and examine your skills needs. This in an ongoing process with no set timescales.
