What does this involve?

The Quality Assurance Scheme is an internationally recognised star rated scheme which provides a benchmark and business improvement tool for your tourism business.

Once you have been graded by a Quality and Tourism Adviser (QTA), you can promote this award in your own marketing activity with a variety of signs and logos.

Am I eligible?

This is for tourism businesses in Scotland.

What does this cost?

Annual fees for the scheme vary depending on your business type and its size. They range from around £53 for a small hostel to around £1,427 for a large accommodation provider with 100 rooms.

How long does this take?

After the QTA carries out their assessment they will give you instant feedback and advice. After the visit you will be sent a detailed report and additional advice as well as promotional materials.
