Scottish Enterprise Clean Heat annual conference

Support provided by Scottish Enterprise Highlands and Islands Enterprise Scottish Government South of Scotland Enterprise

What does this involve?

Clean Heat is Scotland’s largest annual event focused on providing clean, renewable heat for buildings in Scotland. It aims to create interest in the clean heat supply chain by showcasing the opportunities that exist within it.

Organised by Scottish Enterprise, this free, one-day conference in Glasgow will bring together public, private, and third-sector organisations to share their knowledge and expertise.

The event will look at the challenges that Scotland faces in reaching its heat decarbonisation targets and consider ways to overcome them.

The clean heat sector includes areas such as:

  • energy efficiency
  • clean heat equipment and delivery systems, such as heat pumps, heat networks, and their components
  • supportive solutions, including energy storage
  • enabling solutions, such as digital and smart controls
  • sources of fossil fuel-free energy, including mine water, geothermal energy, and waste heat

Clean Heat 2024 brought together 300 attendees, 30 exhibitors, and 31 speakers from across the clean heat supply chain. For next year’s event, Scottish Enterprise plans to build on its progress and take a look at what’s driving the industry's huge growth potential.
