The New Product Development Programme is aimed at established businesses that have a new product or service they wish to bring to market.

The programme consists of 5 sessions spread over a period of 12 weeks. It will take businesses through all the stages of bringing a new product or service to market.

The programme will host 3 to 4 cohorts of businesses over the period from May 2023 to November 2025.

The deadline to apply for the next cohort is 11:59pm on Friday 10 January 2025.

Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.

The dates for the next cohort are:

• session 1 (in person) – 14 and 15 January 2025 (2-day session, all day)
• session 2 (in person) – 4 February 2025 (all day)
• session 3 (virtual) –  26 February 2025 (2 sections, 2.5 hours each)
• session 4 (virtual) – 12 March 2025 (2 sections, 1.5 hours each)
• session 5 (in person) – 25 March 2025 (all day)

All in-person sessions will be held in An Lòchran,10 Inverness Campus, Inverness IV2 5NA.

The programme is for established businesses that are already trading and are located in the Highlands and Islands area. It is not intended for start-ups.

The programme is free to attend. You will need to travel to Inverness for the in-person sessions, so there may be travel and accommodation costs.
