IBioIC Annual Conference - The Just Transition of Biotechnology

Support provided by IBioIC

What does this involve?

This 2-day conference takes place in Glasgow on 6 and 7 June 2022. The conference is hosted by IBioIC and brings together key thinkers, industrialists and policy-makers in the bioeconomy to explore how sustainable development in industrial biotechnology can secure Scotland’s path to net zero.

Learn about the transition to net zero in the chemicals and health industries, novel uses for food and agricultural waste, smart farming, infrastructure and processes of the future, and how Scotland can develop a talent pool that can withstand future challenges.

Conference attendees will hear from industry experts, innovators and policy-makers, and meet new customers, colleagues and business partners.

Companies also have the opportunity to exhibit at or sponsor the conference, or host their own fringe event. These opportunities are designed to help companies raise their profile and meet new colleagues within the bioeconomy.

Conference attendees are also invited to book a place at the conference dinner on the evening of 6 June. The dinner will take place at Citation in Glasgow’s Merchant City. This is a unique opportunity to network in an informal setting.
