Town Centre Capital Business Start-Up Grants

What does this involve?

The Capital Business Start-Up Grants will cover 50% of a business's capital start-up costs, up to a maximum of £10,000, to help give start-up businesses access to capital funding that might not otherwise be available.

These grants are available to businesses that plan to set up in any Moray town centre. The town centre definition includes village centres, but excludes industrial sites and out-of-town retail parks.

Grants can only be used for capital purchases and/or physical works to the property.

The deadline to apply is 31 December 2022.

Yes, if you are starting a new venture that will be based in a Moray town centre property.

The grants will cover 50% of a business's capital start-up costs, up to a maximum of £10,000. You will need to cover any additional costs separately.

Any start-up business setting up a permanent base in a Moray town centre.

The fund is open for applications until 31 December 2022.

You'll get approval to carry out capital works once your application and supporting documents have been assessed and found to meet the eligibility criteria. The grants will be paid after you present invoices for your expenses.
