What does this involve?

Grant funding of £10,000 and £25,000 is available to help owners of non-domestic properties in Scotland deal with the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19). This includes businesses in the retail, hospitality and leisure sector. This funding is provided by the Scottish Government.

To apply, you will need to go to your local authority website to fill out a Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Support Grant application form.

The closing date for applications is 10 July 2020.

Am I eligible?

Check your eligibility with your local council. You will find a list of eligible and ineligible companies on their website. You must be in the retail, hospitality or leisure industry.

What does this cost?

This is a free service. 

Who is this for?

All retail, hospitality and leisure businesses in Scotland who pay rates. If your rateable value is between £18,001 and £51,000, you can apply for a £25,000 grant.

How long does this take?

Councils aim to make payment within 10 working days on receipt of a complete and accurate application (including any supporting documents and information).

Important information

If you own a number of business properties which meet the criteria, you will be eligible for a one-off grant of £25,000 for the first property only, but then a subsequent £18,750 for any further qualifying properties.
