This grant can provide businesses with up to £2,000 to help cover a broad range of employer and employee training that's required as part of a specific business development project.

The grant is available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in Renfrewshire that are involved in manufacturing or business-to-business services.

To be eligible, the training should be conducted by an appropriate external training provider. You cannot use the funding for legislation compliance training or any training considered to be routine.

To apply, you'll need to have a clear idea of how the training will benefit your business and be able to identify exactly what problem or opportunity has led you to apply for training. You should also be able to show how you expect the training to affect your business' performance.
