East Renfrewshire Council's New Start Grant provides up to £500 in funding to help small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) with start-up costs. These can include items such as a piece of equipment, insurance or an e-commerce website.

The grant is available to new businesses participating in the free East Renfrewshire Launch programme.

You are eligible if your business:

• is based and trading in East Renfrewshire
• has been trading for 6 months or less
• is participating in the East Renfrewshire Launch programme

It is free to apply.

Small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in East Renfrewshire that have signed up to the East Renfrewshire Launch Programme and have been trading for less than 6 months.

It takes around 30 minutes to complete the online application form.

After you submit your application, initial compliance checks will be carried out. A member of the Council's Business Growth team will then be in touch to discuss your application.

Once you have submitted all supporting documents, you'll get an update on your application within 5 working days.

A Business Gateway adviser will be assigned to you to help with the application process as part of the East Renfrewshire Launch programme.
