What does this involve?
Business Improvement Districts (BID) can play a vital role in the coronavirus (COVID-19) response in their local area. Once a Business Improvement District determines how best to support local businesses and communities and agrees on a plan with their local authority, they can then apply for a share of the £1 million COVID-19 BID Resilience Fund from the Scottish Government to support that project or programme.

Timelines may vary by applicant.
Important information
The fund should not be considered a replacement for your local BID levy. Applications should be for projects that will introduce radical new initiatives.
All applications must be signed by the BID Chair or BID Vice Chair and countersigned by the Local Authority Chief Executive or lead Local Authority Contact.
