Support provided by Scottish Government

What does this involve?

sportscotland, the national agency for sport in Scotland, has compiled a list of the latest sport-specific guidance to help manage a safe return to sports and physical activity during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Participants in sports and physical activities, as well as clubs, facility operators and anyone involved in the delivery of these activities, should consult this guidance to learn which activities are currently allowed and what additional health and safety measures need to be in place.

The sports-specific guidance has been developed and published by the governing bodies for each individual sport based on general guidance from sportscotland on how to resume sports and physical activity safely.

Some of the guidance documents are available as PDF files, others have been published as webpages.

A list of which sports and activities are considered contact and non-contact is also available for reference as an Excel spreadsheet (31 KB).
