Coronavirus guidance on domestic cruise ship travel

Support provided by Scottish Government

What does this involve?

The Scottish Government has published guidance for operators of domestic cruise ships and their passengers to help them operate safely during the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This forms part of the government’s general advice on travel and transport.

This guidance is based on protocols developed by the UK Chamber of Shipping and includes separate information for cruise ship operators, seafarers and passengers. Each set of guidance is available to download as an individual PDF file.

These protocols should be read together with other relevant Scottish Government guidance and Scottish law – links to the relevant information is included in this document. If there is any contradiction, the Scottish Government guidance and legislation takes precedence.
