What does this involve?

If you are making an apprentice redundant, Apprenticeships.scot offers guidance and advice to apprentices and employers in Scotland affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis.

The Apprentice Transition Plan can offer them support.

How the transition plan can help your apprentices:

  • offers support to help them complete their qualification
  • provides a record of learning in their apprenticeship to date
  • provides a record of transferable skills that prospective employers recognise
  • helps them plan for further learning or employment

Apprentices facing redundancy can also get information on advice and support by contacting the PACE redundancy helpline on 0800 917 8000 or from the My World of Work website.
